Automated results are provided for informational and research purposes and should not be considered legal, financial, investment, title, appraisal, or professional advice.
Users should independently verify important property information with the applicable government agency, county office, title professional, attorney, or other authoritative source before making financial or legal decisions.

With Your Direction or Consent
We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or otherwise provide your consent.
6. Public Information Is Not Private Account Information
Property ownership information and other information obtained from government or public-record sources should be distinguished from personal information collected directly from Lien Scout users.
For example, a property owner’s name appearing in a county tax record may be displayed through Lien Scout because it appears in a public governmental record. This does not mean that the property owner created a Lien Scout account or provided that information directly to us.

- Maintain user sessions
- Remember preferences
- Authenticate accounts
- Understand how the Services are used

You may be able to limit cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling certain technologies may affect the functionality of the Services.
8. Analytics
We may use analytics providers to understand how users interact with Lien Scout.
Analytics information may include device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, pages or features accessed, session duration, application performance, and similar usage information.
We use this information to understand user behavior, improve the Services, troubleshoot problems, and develop new features.
9. Advertising
Lien Scout may advertise its Services through third-party advertising platforms.
Those platforms may collect or process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
If Lien Scout introduces advertising inside the application or uses information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate and any legally required choices or permissions will be provided.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, or misuse.
However, no internet transmission, database, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or aggregate it in accordance with applicable law.
Public-record information may remain available from its original governmental or public source even if it is removed from Lien Scout.
12. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests
You may request deletion of your Lien Scout account and associated personal information, subject to information we are permitted or required to retain by law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to:

Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent us from sending important account, billing, security, or service-related messages.
15. Children's Privacy
Lien Scout is intended for adults and is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
16. Third-Party Websites and Services
Lien Scout may contain links to county websites, government agencies, mapping services, payment providers, or other third-party websites and services.
We do not control the privacy practices of third parties. Your interaction with a third-party website or service is governed by that third party’s privacy policy and terms.
We encourage users to review the privacy practices of third-party services they access.
17. Do Not Track and Privacy Controls
Some browsers and devices provide privacy controls or “Do Not Track” signals.
Because standards regarding these signals continue to vary, our Services may not respond to every browser-based Do Not Track signal.
Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally valid opt-out preference signal, we will process such signals as required by applicable law.
18. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable state law.
Depending on where you reside and whether the applicable law applies to Lien Scout, these rights may include the ability to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information regarding certain uses or disclosures of personal information.
You may also have the right to appeal certain decisions regarding a privacy request.
Lien Scout will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.
19. International Users
Lien Scout is primarily designed to provide information regarding property located within the United States.
If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed or stored in the United States or other jurisdictions in which our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our Services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we may provide additional notice when required by law.
Your continued use of Lien Scout after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
